
Start of New Painting
I've had this imagery in my head of continious square shapes from my downstairs living area and thought I'd try and translate it into a painting. Too cold to be outside so best to do these interior scenes now. The figure is once again of myself sitting at the table. Some day I will be able to hire models so I don't have to keep looking at myself in photos!

Cezanne at the MET!!!
Christy Gallagher and I went to the MET Sunday to see the beautiful paintings of Cezanne's wife, Marie-Hortense. It was great seeing paintings that I haven't had the pleasure of seeing before. Most certainly, one of the greatest painters ever.

Productive couple of days
I hopefully broke the rut I was in this past month. Organiizing paintings with labels so I can find them instead of searching constantly. Began painting from a window of a snow scene down the street during the day (seems like the snow will be hanging around for a while) and beginning a 30 x 30 night scene which I see as being pretty dramatic lighting wise. I want to include a fancy couple of figures as if ascending into a party at night. These things are always exciting when
