Cool Day atop East Rock

I've been here to this scene several times over the years. Beside enjoying the view the challenge for me is the sense of depth from very far to quite close. How to differentiate the color tones especially the greens to encourage depth. This is the first session and we will see what happens. I've also have had this image in my head for the last few days with the inclusion of a bicyclist on the road.

It is interesting to note how areas become overgrown and impeded the scenes that at one time were easily viewed.
