Productive couple of days
I hopefully broke the rut I was in this past month. Organiizing paintings with labels so I can find them instead of searching constantly. Began painting from a window of a snow scene down the street during the day (seems like the snow will be hanging around for a while) and beginning a 30 x 30 night scene which I see as being pretty dramatic lighting wise. I want to include a fancy couple of figures as if ascending into a party at night. These things are always exciting when I start them off with my idea and the beginning of laying in the paint on the canvas. In a couple of days it becomes plain old work trying to keep the excitement going.
